So, there we were on the night of 5 August, hiding like a bunch of giddy teenagers, waiting for the big moment. It was 8:30 PM, and the massive billboard in Bukit Bintang was about to light up with Zulin Aziz’s face. The LAVVANYA team had planned this perfectly, but none of us knew exactly how she’d react. Spoiler alert: She was shook.
As soon as her video popped up, the look on Zulin’s face was pure magic. She was staring up at her own gigantic self, absolutely speechless at first—then came the excited squeals! “I can’t believe you guys did this!” she laughed, turning around to hug everyone in sight. We were all beaming with pride, watching her take it in. I mean, how often do you get to surprise a celeb like that?
But Zulin being Zulin, she didn’t just stop at being surprised. Oh no! The night turned into a full-on street party. Without skipping a beat, she grabbed a mic (where did she even get that from?!) and started doing impromptu Q&A with random people on the street. It was hilarious! Imagine walking through Bukit Bintang and getting beauty goodies from Zulin herself!
The best part? This whole thing was a way to show our love for her. Zulin was the first celebrity to collaborate with LAVVANYA, and she really helped put our eyebrow set on the map. This was just our way of saying, “You’re amazing, thank you!” And judging by her reaction, I think we nailed it.
